Halloween Activities in 2020

Halloween activities

2020 has been an interesting year, to say the least. It’s not every year you deal with a global pandemic. This has put a lot of extra stress on ourselves and families. One of the hardest parts about it is what to do when you want to celebrate an occasion. With Halloween right around the corner, we wanted to share some fun activities you can do for Halloween in 2020.

Costumes:

Even if you aren’t able to go trick-or-treating this year, you can still keep the spirit of Halloween alive. Get some candy for the kids and have a little family costume party to celebrate the holiday. For more fun, try making your own at home!

Halloween Activities

Decorate your facemasks:

Get some blank facemasks and grab your art supplies. With many areas still mandated to wear masks in public, why not spice it up a little bit with some creative Halloween themed facemask? You get to show off your creative side and it’s an awesome Halloween activity to do with your family.

Decorate the house:

Nobody said you can’t decorate your house still. If you have decorations in your attic, get them out. You can even do some small craft projects with your family. A little haunted house never scared anyone, right?

Carve pumpkins:

A truly classic Halloween activity. It’s safe to do at home with your family and will definitely get you in the spirit of Halloween. Be sure to look online at some potential ideas on what to carve, and you add this to your household decorations.

Scary movies:

Another classic Halloween activity. Who doesn’t enjoy a good scary movie on this spooky holiday? There are plenty of eerie movies that are safe for the whole family to watch, or if you’re just spending time with your significant, you can find some more adult-style scary movies. Nothing screams Halloween quite like screaming at your TV!

It’s been challenging year and a lot of us have felt that, especially with finding ways to celebrate special occasions. That doesn’t have to be the case. Get some candy and use these activities as a guide to making your Halloween just as fun as ever.
